Riset Research and Development Ltd. ("Riset," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to processing personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws of the State of Israel, and regulations issued under it, and, where applicable, other privacy laws that may apply to our activities or to data we process on behalf of our customers.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process personal data in connection with:

  • our business development, communications, and marketing activities;
  • recruitment and hiring processes, including job applications submitted through the website;
  • the provision of our telecommunications engineering, software development, consulting, managed, hosted, and related services; and
  • any other interactions with us that link to or refer to this Privacy Policy.

If you are a customer and we process personal data on your behalf as a service provider, processor, or outsourced service provider, we process that data under our agreement with you and your instructions, rather than as described in all respects in this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide Directly

  • verify your experience, qualifications, and references;
  • conduct interviews and assessments;
  • comply with legal obligations and internal hiring policies; and
  • maintain records related to recruitment, dispute resolution, and equal opportunity or lawful hiring practices, where applicable.

Applicant information may include information contained in CVs, cover letters, correspondence, notes from interviews, evaluation records, compensation expectations, right-to-work information, and any other information you or a third-party lawfully provides in connection with your candidacy.

You should not submit information that is not relevant to your application, including special categories of sensitive data, unless specifically requested or required by law. To the extent you provide such information, you consent to our processing of it for recruitment-related purposes where permitted by law.

We may retain applicant information for the position for which you applied and, unless you request otherwise, for consideration for future roles for a reasonable period consistent with applicable law and our legitimate business needs.

Riset does not sell personal data or private information to third parties. We do not disclose personal data to third parties in exchange for monetary consideration or for their independent commercial use. Any disclosure of personal data by Riset is limited to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including service provision, support, security, legal compliance, recruitment administration, and lawful business operations.

International Transfers

Riset is based in Israel, and personal data may be processed in Israel and in other jurisdictions in which we or our service providers operate.

Where personal data is transferred outside Israel, we will take steps required by applicable law to ensure that the transfer is lawful and that the receiving party provides an adequate level of protection, including by contract, internal policies, or other appropriate safeguards.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate authorization as required by law. Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those third parties.

Database Registration and Compliance

To the extent required by Israeli law, Riset will maintain and manage its databases in accordance with applicable registration, use, access, security, and governance requirements.

Where required, Riset will appoint responsible personnel, implement data security procedures, and maintain internal controls in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law and the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security), 2017.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or Riset’s processing of personal data will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, except to the extent mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
