Job Applicant Privacy Notice

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data about job applicants:

• name and contact details, including email address, phone number, city, and country;
• CV, resume, cover letter, portfolio, LinkedIn profile, GitHub profile, website, and other professional materials you submit;
• employment history, education history, certifications, qualifications, skills, languages, and project experience;
• correspondence with you, including emails, messages, interview scheduling, and interview notes;
• compensation expectations, preferred work arrangement, availability, notice period, and relocation information;
• information provided by references, recruiters, or other third parties lawfully involved in your candidacy;
• records relating to assessments, interviews, evaluations, and recruitment decisions;
• technical information relating to your use of our careers page or application forms, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and form submission logs; and
• any other information you choose to provide in connection with your application.

We ask that you do not include information that is not reasonably necessary for recruitment purposes. Unless specifically requested or legally required, please do not provide highly sensitive personal data, such as medical information, biometric data, religious beliefs, political opinions, or other special categories of data.

We may collect applicant information:

• directly from you when you submit an application, CV, resume, cover letter, or message;
• through our website, careers page, contact forms, or email communications;
• from recruiters, staffing partners, referrals, and professional networking platforms;
• from references you provide;
• from interviews, assessments, and communications during the recruitment process; and
• from publicly available professional sources, where lawful and appropriate.

We may use applicant information for the following purposes:

• to review and assess your application and qualifications;
• to contact you about current or future roles;
• to schedule and conduct interviews and assessments;
• to evaluate your suitability for a role;
• to verify information you provide, including references and experience, where lawful;

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, subject to processing already carried out lawfully before withdrawal.

We may share applicant information with:

• authorized personnel within Riset involved in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, management, or legal and compliance review;
• service providers that support our website, hosting, communications, recruiting operations, document storage, or IT systems;
• external recruiters or referral partners involved in your application;
• professional advisors, such as legal counsel, where reasonably necessary; and
• courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights and interests.

Riset does not sell applicant personal data or private information. We do not disclose CVs, resumes, application materials, or other applicant information to third parties in exchange for monetary consideration or for their independent commercial use.

Riset is based in Israel, and applicant information may be accessed or processed in Israel and in other jurisdictions in which our service providers operate.

Where applicant personal data is transferred outside Israel, we will take steps required by applicable law to ensure the transfer is lawful and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We retain applicant personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to assess your candidacy, manage recruitment processes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate business records.

If you are not hired, we may retain your information for a reasonable period to consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us not to do so or unless retention is otherwise not permitted or not necessary under applicable law.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect applicant personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure, taking into account the sensitivity of the information and applicable legal requirements.

Subject to applicable law, including the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may have the right to request access to personal data about you that is held in a database and to request correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, in accordance with applicable law.

You may also request that we stop retaining your information for future opportunities, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Job Applicant Privacy Notice will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, except to the extent mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update this Job Applicant Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will become effective when posted on our website or otherwise provided to you, unless a later date is stated.
